Our instructors are current practitioners with search and rescue, the military and EMS. Our approach is simple; practical, straight to the point training focused on producing competent providers who we would trust to work on our own families. We believe that the “wilderness” is not the grass behind our facility and we believe that a card is no substitute for experience.
Backcountry Medical is located in beautiful Mt. Vernon, Washington just 1 hour north of Seattle and 1 hour South of Vancouver, B.C.
